When you take a doll out for a go round of your town do you just fetch the travel doll or one of your dolls along as well to give her some companionship? Is it tough to lug around two dolls? I?m going to host a travel doll soon and I?ve never done this before, sure I sent out Kirsten (as you know she is still traveling), so some advice would be helpful.

I took two of my dolls plus the traveling doll, but I also took along a helper. It is really nice to have someone to help adjust the poses while you snap the shots. Dolls tend to fall over on uneven ground or when a good gust of wind goes by.
It is also more fun with a helper and it doesn't hurt to have four arms to carry the dolls and the camera.
If I was going by myself, I would make certain that I had a bag of some sort to put the dolls in between shots so that I could keep them safe and clean and so that I would always have a free hand for opening doors, etc. I suppose the number of dolls I brought would depend on how big my bag was and how much walking I was going to be doing.
